Open educational resources
Teaching materials I share openly, all under CC BY 4.0 — adapt them, translate them, use them in your own teaching. Attribution is welcome; asking permission is not.
Existing resources are archived on the Open Science Framework and remain freely available there. New and updated versions will be deposited on Zenodo and listed here.

Data skills
Data skills materials are maintained by the psyTeachR team at the University of Glasgow.
Applications and career
My Principal Fellowship application and my 2025 application for promotion to Professor are available on OSF. People writing their own tend to find them useful, and there is no good reason for them to be hard to find.
Hillwalking
Munro and Corbett picker
A stand-alone planning tool. Give it your postcode, the date and when you can leave the house, and it lists the Munros and Corbetts you could climb and get off the hill before sunset, with filters for driving time, region, height, terrain and the weather forecast. Walk data from walkhighlands, built alongside the Munro and Corbett blog posts.
Earlier resources
Study skills sessions from 2019 to 2025, the student guides to using lecture recordings in five languages, and other teaching materials are archived on the Open Science Framework at osf.io/nymkd and osf.io/esd2q. Both collections remain downloadable indefinitely.
